Hello, my name is Damaris Li. I transferred with an A.S. Degree in BA from Maryland to UAF. I am a junior in BA and this class is a requirement for my Bachelor’s Degree. We moved to Alaska May this year due to military orders. I really hope we will stay here for the next 3 years, so I can finish my degree. This is our 6th duty station in 7 years.
Original I am from Germany. I have a German degree in Social Pedagogics. I worked for a couple years as a director of a kindergarten and then switched to a software company, which developed software for social Institution. During my time in the software company I wrote manuals and handbooks. I loved to describe the ways to use the software and getting the positive feedback from customers. I am sure this class will help me to enhance and broaden my knowledge.
