Overview

Careful editing is a hallmark of a strong technical writer. However, basic editing skills are not always mastered in high school. Therefore, it is important to regularly review the most common grammatical concepts.

You will take grammar quizzes this semester. They are aligned with the content in the Little Seagull text. Each quiz covers a different concept.  

Format

The quizzes are mostly multiple choice questions, which become more difficult as you move through the material.  

Submission

The quizzes must be accessed though Blackboard because the system is designed to sync the grades directly into our course grade book.
