For this assignment I would like you to review your own WordPress site. You should first look at the  blogs  of your classmates or others doing similar sites (covering the same kinds of topics as we have in class). You should look at a minimum of 10 other blogs. Please provide links to them.  

Make note of the things you think are done well. Make note also of the things you feel are less effective. Then make 5 BIG changes to your site. For example, you might change your theme or reorganize your pages. If you have one main page and no sub-sections, your site will be  difficult to navigate.   Finally, you should create a blog post with contains the following sections: :  

 1. An introduction in which you explain what you observed when you looked at the blogs of others. Which blogs were most appealing to you? What do they have in common? What qualities improved their readability? What qualities detracted from it?  

2. An assessment your own blog as compared to the others. How does it compare? What are its strengths? What are its challenges?  

3.  An overview of each of the five BIG changes you made to your own blog. For each, you should address the following:  

• Why did you make that particular change?
• Describe the change. (What did it entail? How did it impact your blog as a whole? Is it large or small? )
• What is its function within your blog? (What does it contribute to the blog?  How does it improve your blog?)

4. A conclusion in which you describe how these changes address the problems you have identified, and how they will improve the overall quality of your blog. If you have other ideas you might want to implement in the future, mention them as well.  

After you have made your initial post, please respond to the posts of at least three members of our cohort.
