My name is Dr. Carolyn Stice and I live in Ester, AK. Ester is just outside of Fairbanks,but it enjoys having a little autonomy.
I have been teaching for about 10 years, and I really enjoy teaching Technical Writing in particular. I like the fact that there is space for creativity even though it appeals to the detail-oriented left side of my brain.
Are you all at UAF or do we have folks from other places?
Whether you are living in Fairbanks or not you can all use the UAF writing center free of charge. They offer in-person and phone tutorials. Here are the regular Fall hours:
Regular Fall/Spring Semester Hours:
10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Monday – Thursday
7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. Monday – Thursday
10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Friday
1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Sunday
